This video demonstrates how the gravitational potential energy of a skateboarder is converted into kinetic energy as they move down a ramp.  It discusses efficiency and how you can calculate the energy mathematically at both stages.  It also ties into SUVAT and demonstrates how an objects acceleration due to gravity is independent of it's mass.
